Arch-IT is among the most innovative IT architecture practices in Poland, and as such, it employs teams of specialists endowed with complementary competencies. We follow the example set by traditional architectural enterprises, such as: Studio Libeskind or Eiffel et Cie, which was founded by Gustave Eiffel himself.

The tasks of designing a complete IT environment that will be optimal in terms of business and technology necessitates unique skills and experience that we have accumulated over the years of our professional activity. The role of an IT architect requires a specific way of thinking, as well as a definitive set of approaches and attitudes which cannot be learned from books or courses.
Over the years of fruitful professional careers, the founders of Arch-IT have always been pioneers of sustainable IT architecture, as endorsed by the many different projects they have implemented.

Over the past years of professional career Arch-it funders has pioneered a sustainable approach to IT architecture through a strikingly wide range of work.

From the very beginning, we have been the groundbreakers of a balanced approach to designing the entire gamut of applications: from client applications, through in-the-cloud solutions and IT infrastructure – all the way to the BigData computing clusters. We adapt to the culture of the client’s organisation, combining the cutting-edge IT achievements with enterprise architecture proven over decades of work, and using the skills, enthusiasm and expertise of closely collaborating design teams, so as to create an inspiring work environment.

Architects and software engineers combine their expertise over the course of creative collaboration, which results in the development of integrated and balanced comprehensive solutions. The design teams are supported by our specialists, including PM and QA. In order to ensure a consistency of solutions, all project works are executed by one and the same team, while the design process itself is regularly reviewed by the Architecture Board of our company.

Ideas can flow more freely when architects, developers and software engineers are granted the opportunity to exchange views from the very beginning of the project. This allows them to combine their knowledge and learn from each other, while developing durable, coherent solutions. For these reasons, approaching the IT architecture in a comprehensive way constitutes the basis of our design methodology.
Our commitment to various projects allows us to combine the diverse experience derived from designing a full range of IT systems. Our practice is a reflection of this rich mix of competencies.
We make a young and cosmopolitan team – together, we can face any challenge.

IT Architecture as a Service

Architecture-as-a-Service is a term defining the basis of our practice. We offer a suite of services grouped in the main areas of the IT architecture business, from which you may freely hand-pick a desired combination, which will then be priced as a single package.
Our professional activities cover Enterprise Architecture (EA-as-a-Service), Domain/Segment Architecture (DA-as-a-Service), System/Application Architecture (SA-as-a-Service), as well as IT support areas and IT management. An enterprise that chooses to work with Arch-IT receives full architectural support without the need to hire a whole team of specialists, procuring instead only those services that are necessary at a particular moment in time!

The functions of our office are strictly dependent on the needs of your organisation and the specificity of the projects it implements. Presented below is our offer, which complies with the highest (of our) standards.

Shaping the Company's IT Strategy

Our team is fully aware of the fact that the true purpose of having an IT infrastructure in your business is to support business processes. Establishing corporate governance in the enterprise, which is a priority in formalised architectural methodologies, should never be a task in itself. Our ambition is to develop an IT strategy that will deliver the company’s strategy in the most effective way. Long-term support provided by our experts enables us to shape the evolution of the development and transformation of applications, IT environments, processes and IT departments.

Architectural Project Support

Creating your own IT solutions is not easy. The risks entailed thereby include technological uncertainty, the quality of the software being developed, the ongoing control of the scope of the project, and, finally, the optimisation of the business value provided by the project. The best way to mitigate risks in IT projects is to involve an experienced architect in the Arch-IT subscription model. If your organisation uses specialised software house services, the help of an independent expert, such as ours, may be invaluable.

Resource Management

People play a major role in the success of IT projects. At Arch-IT we know that having valuable employees and the correct manning of team members requires years of experience.
With the current low availability of staff in the labour market, nurturing the development of your employees and enhancing their competence through training and coaching constitutes a particularly important part of a long-term IT strategy.

IT Audit

Whenever an IT project fails to deliver the expected results, it may need to be verified. Proper IT auditing requires detailed expertise that will allow the auditor to identify and evaluate the technical and organisational solutions that are being used and to assess the progress of works and draft a report accordingly.
Evaluating IT solutions at the right stage of their development can significantly reduce the risk of the venture and improve the quality of the final solution, which is the top priority for our experts.

Our Standards

Owing to our experience and unique settlement models, we are able to ensure the following:

  • quick access to the missing architectural competencies and a flexible model of their employment,
  • support for the interdepartmental team of IT architects at a lower cost than a full-time employment,
  • supervision of experienced architects with a specialty selected accordingly to the tasks performed,
  • periodical reviews of tasks, projects and solutions by the Architecture Board,
  • additional cost and time optimisation related to workplace organisation,
  • documentation tailored for each level of the company (from the Management Board and the Supervisory Board to the developers).

MODELS OF PAYMENT

We offer attractive and modern pricing models. Following up on the latest trends in the IT world, we primarily offer Pay-as-You-Go models.
With the use of flexible billing and fixed rates, every business can provide itself with the full support of experienced architects, relative to: enterprises, solutions, applications, security, data, and infrastructure – without incurring the full cost of employing an entire team of experts for a long period of time.

Subscription

By paying a fixed subscription, you can get a package of services without having to permanently hire an entire team of architects.
The size of the subscription depends on the number of services ordered and the tasks scheduled for a given period. This type of payment allows you to control costs and pay only as much as is necessary to run an IT architecture.
This model is recommended as the basic settlement method for long-term collaboration which entails architectural supervision over companies and projects.

Bucket of Hours

The bucket-of-hours rating system allows you to purchase our time for the performance of a specific task.
We set an hourly rate together with our clients, present a specific quote for the individual unitary tasks and we calculate our scope of work according to the number of assignments received. This model is recommended for the implementation of individual projects or short-term tasks, not related to our role as the architecture department.

Individual Pricinig

Standard Model Fixed Price.
It consists in determining the scope of the tasks and the timeframe on which we base our quote for the service. In view of the nature of the work of architects and the products we deliver, we recommend this model for trainings and for non-standard situations.

Our Services

According to our cooperation concept and based on the Architecture-as-Service model, we provide the possibility to freely determine the scope of support.

ARCHITECTURE BOARD

TWe have established our own Architecture Board, consisting of the founders of our practice: Michał Cichocki, Maciej Kubicki, Grzegorz Szerłomski and Rafał Wasilewski.

Its task is to regularly monitor each project, both formally and informally; consequently, the Board is fully responsible for all Arch-IT projects. Furthermore, it is also tasked with the organisation of interdisciplinary design workshops dedicated to the performance and availability of applications. The participation of the Board in project-specific work is essential in the initial conceptual stages, but it does not end there – its involvement is required all the way until the end of the project.

The Board was created in the spirit of openness and with the will to challenge the stereotypes of computer science.
